Mac & Cheese Bites

Ingredients:

300 g macaroni, cooked al dente
250 ml LANCEWOOD Sauce Delight® Cheese Sauce
salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
30 ml fresh parsley, chopped
1 egg(s), beaten
150 g LANCEWOOD® White Cheddar, grated

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and spray a muffin pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cheese sauce, salt and pepper, parsley and egg together.
  3. Mix until the macaroni is completely covered and spoon the mixture into the muffin pan, using the back of a spoon to lightly press the macaroni flat.
  4. Top with grated cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Enjoy as a lunchbox filler or as an anytime snack.


HINTS &TIPS: For an even more decadent Mac & Cheese Bite, add 125g LANCEWOOD® Spring Onion and Chives Medium Fat Cream Cheese and beat it into cheese sauce.
