Easy Tuna Pasta Bake

Ingredients:

Tuna Pasta
200 g penne pasta, cooked
200 g canned chopped peeled tomatoes
200 g tomato purée
2.5 ml chilli flakes
5 ml crushed garlic
5 ml fresh basil, chopped
salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
175 g LANCEWOOD® White Cheddar, grated
170 g canned tuna, drained & flaked
White Sauce
30 ml melted butter
30 ml cake flour
250 ml milk, A pinch of salt

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.Tuna PastaAdd the pasta, tomatoes, and tomato purée to a mixing bowl. Add the chilli flakes, garlic, basil, seasoning, 100 g of the cheese and tuna.White Sauce

  1. In a bowl, mix the melted butter and flour. Add the milk little by little while stirring continuously until thick. Season to taste. Pour the white sauce over the tuna pasta and mix all of the ingredients together until well combined.
  2. Place into a prepared baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  3. Bake for 20 – 30 or until golden brown.
  4. Top with fresh basil and enjoy!
