Delicious Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients:
125 ml cream
170 g dark chocolate
5 ml vanilla essence
250 ml cream
30 ml xylitol
125 ml LANCEWOOD® Low Fat Plain Yoghurt
To finish:
30 g dark chocolate, grated
30 ml LANCEWOOD® Low Fat Plain Yoghurt
Method
- Heat a saucepan over low heat.
- Add the cream and heat until it starts to steam.
- Add the chocolate to a mixing bowl and pour the hot cream over. Allow to melt for 2 minutes before stirring and mixing through. If all of the chocolate hasn’t melted, pop in the microwave for 10 seconds.
- Mix in the vanilla essence and set aside.
- Add the cream to a mixing bowl and beat until medium peaks form. Add the xylitol and continue beating until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Add the yoghurt and gently fold it into the mixture.
- Pour into 2 serving glasses and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
To finish:- Garnish with grated chocolate and a dollop of yoghurt.
- Enjoy as a guilt-free decadent dessert!
