Healthy Cottage Cheese Pizza
Ingredients:
Base:
250 g LANCEWOOD® Low Fat Smooth Plain Cottage Cheese
2 large egg(s)
garlic salt
mixed dried herbs
Topping:
60 ml pizza sauce
100 g LANCEWOOD® Mozzarella, grated
12 salami slices
fresh basil
to garnish
Method
Base:- Preheat the oven to 190°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper, then trace a 20cm diameter circle on it. Turn over the baking paper so that the pencil/pen ink is on the other side.
- In a bowl, add the cottage cheese, eggs, garlic salt and mixed herbs. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the mixture onto the baking tray and spread evenly into the traced circle.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
Topping:- Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then spread pizza sauce almost to the edges, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and top with salami slices. Bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
