Easy 4-ingredient Cheese & Onion Bread

Ingredients:

500 g self-raising flour
50 g packet brown onion soup (or white onion soup)
200 g LANCEWOOD® Grated Cheddar
500 ml LANCEWOOD® Buttermilk

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a large loaf pan or a medium-sized round or oval braai casserole.
  2. Mix the flour, brown onion soup and half of the cheese together. Add the buttermilk and mix to a firm dough.
  3. Press the dough into the greased pan and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  4. Bake for 45 – 60 minutes (depending on the size of your pan) until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  5. Serve warm with butter and extra grated cheese or a spread of your favourite Cream Cheese.
