Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Pasta
Ingredients:
500g chicken breast(s)
cut into thin slices
60ml butter
1onion(s)
chopped
400g mixed mushrooms
chopped
salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
250ml LANCEWOOD Sauce Delight® Pepper Sauce
250ml LANCEWOOD Sauce Delight® Mushroom Sauce
125ml milk
500ml penne pasta
cooked
1lemon
juice of half the lemon
To serve:
60ml Parmesan
grated
30ml fresh parsley
chopped
Method
- Heat the butter and fry the chicken until golden. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Fry the onion and mushrooms until cooked and golden and season to taste.
- Add the chicken to the pan together with the pepper and mushroom sauce. Stir through.
- Add the cooked penne pasta and milk and heat through. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and seasoning to taste.
To serve:
Serve with grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of parsley.
