Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Strips
Ingredients:
Chicken strips:
500g skinless chicken breasts
cut into strips
150g bread crumbs
panko or crushed cornflakes
5ml smoked paprika
5ml salt
freshly ground black pepper to taste
2large eggs
oil for spraying and frying
Yoghurt dip:
1garlic clove
minced
juice of half a lemon
375ml LANCEWOOD Greek Delight® Double Cream Plain Yoghurt
30ml fresh parsley
chopped
15ml fresh chives
chopped
2.5ml ground cumin
salt and pepper to taste
Method
Chicken strips:- Combine the breadcrumbs, paprika, salt and pepper in a shallow dish. Beat the eggs in a second dish.
- Dip the chicken strips into the beaten egg, then the seasoned crumbs.
Air fryer:- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil and place the chicken strips in the air fryer in a single layer.
- Air fry at 200°C for 14 – 16 minutes, turning and spraying with olive oil halfway through cooking.
Oven baking:- Place the chicken strips on a lined and greased baking tray and bake at 200°C for 15 – 20 minutes.
Yoghurt dip:- Add the garlic and lemon juice to a bowl and leave to stand for 10 minutes.
- Add the yoghurt, parsley, chives, cumin and salt and pepper. Mix well.
To serve:
Pour the yoghurt dip into a dip bowl and serve with the chicken strips.
