Icing:
120 g unsalted butter, room temperature
230 g LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Plain Cream Cheese
500 g icing sugar
5 ml vanilla essence
food colouring
pink and green
Multicoloured sprinkles
Beat the butter and cream cheese together until smooth. Gradually add the icing sugar, beating well after each addition. Lastly add the vanilla essence and beat well.
Divide the icing into 2 bowls. Add a drop of pink food colouring to one bowl and a drop of green to the other bowl. Mix well.
Ice half of the doughnuts with the pink icing using a palette knife to spread it evenly and create a slight drip effect. Repeat with the green icing and the remaining doughnuts.
To Finish:
To create the stack, place 5 doughnuts on a cake stand, alternating the colours. Top with 4 more doughnuts, them another 4, then 3, then
Finish with 1 doughnut on top.
Decorate with sprinkles, then arrange birthday candles at various spots around the “cake”. Lastly place a sparkler on top. Light the candles and the sparkler and enjoy!
