Bruschetta 4 Ways With Plain Spread
Ingredients:
1 French loaf, sliced
80 ml olive oil or
canola oil
2 large cloves garlic, peeled
200 g LANCEWOOD Spread Delight!™ Plain Full Cream Cheese Spread
Method
- Place slices of French loaf on a baking sheet.
- Brush lightly with oil and rub with garlic cloves.
- Grill until golden on the one side. Turnover, brush with oil and grill until golden.Spread bruschetta with the cheese spread.
To finish:Serve bruschetta with one of the following toppings:- Top with sliced salami, chopped sundried tomatoes and rocket. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste and serve.
- Mix halved cherry tomatoes, shredded basil, a pinch of sugar, a touch of olive oil, salt and ground black pepper together. Spoon on top of bruschetta and serve.
- Top with rare roast beef or any other cold meat of your choice, caramelized onions, a sprig of thyme and salt to taste.
- Fry chopped mixed mushrooms in a little garlic and butter until golden. Spoon on top of bruschetta and top with grated cheese and freshly ground black pepper.
