Cheesy Stuffed Burgers with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients:

Cheesy stuffed patties:
500 g beef mince
60 ml breadcrumbs
1 onion(s), diced
2 garlic clove(s), crushed
1 large egg(s)
30 ml Worcestershire sauce
salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
60 g LANCEWOOD® Cheddar, finely grated
15 ml olive oil

To build the burger:
4 hamburger buns
butter
lettuce
LANCEWOOD Sauce Delight® Mushroom Sauce
tomato(es), sliced

Method

Cheesy stuffed patties:
  1. Using a mixing bowl, add the mince, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce and seasoning and mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mince mixture into four balls.
  3. Create a well in the centre of each patty and place 15 g cheddar in the centre of each ball. Seal the cheese in the middle of the patty.
  4. Add the olive oil to a pan over a medium high heat. Cook for 10 minutes per side.


To build the burger:
  1. Butter the bottom half of each hamburger bun and top with lettuce. Add the cheesy stuffed patty and pour over the mushroom sauce. Top with a tomato slice and the top half of the bun.
  2. Cheesy and delicious!
