Air Fryer Jalapeño Pinwheels
Ingredients:
Pinwheels:
1 sheet(s) puff pastry
30 ml basil pesto
70 g jalapeño(s)
70 g LANCEWOOD® Cheddar, grated
1 egg wash
Cream Cheese dip:
200 g LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Plain Cream Cheese
5 ml dried basil
2.5 ml oregano
2.5 ml dried thyme
30 ml kewpie (japanese) mayonnaise
60 g Feta Cheese
Method
Pinwheels:- Generously flour the surface and pastry.
- Add the basil pesto and spread evenly. Then add the jalapeños and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the cheese over and roll the pastry starting at the rectangular side.
- Pinch the edges slightly so that the pastry doesn’t unravel during baking.
- Cut the pastry into 3 cm discs and brush with egg wash.
- Air fry at 170°C for 10 minutes.
Cream Cheese dip:- Add the Cream Cheese to a blender. Add the basil, oregano and thyme. Then add the kewpie mayonnaise and feta and blend until smooth.
- Dip the pinwheels into the dip and enjoy as a delicious braai or lunchtime snack.
