Mussels with White Wine Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:

45 ml butter
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic clove(s), crushed
125 ml dry white wine
250 ml LANCEWOOD® Sour Cream
250 ml milk
750 g mussels in half shell
salt & freshly ground black pepper

To serve:
parsley, chopped
chilli flakes
lemon wedge(s)

Method

  1. Heat the butter and fry the onion and garlic until soft.
  2. Add the wine and reduce the heat. Stir in the sour cream and milk and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the mussels. Cover and simmer for 10 more minutes. Season to taste.


To serve: Sprinkle with parsley and chilli flakes. Serve with fries and crusty bread.
