Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients:

45 ml butter
1 onion(s), half the onion finely chopped
250 g brown mushrooms, halved & sliced
250 ml LANCEWOOD® Sour Cream
125 ml milk
plus extra for thinning if necessary
10 ml soy sauce
salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Heat the butter and fry the onion and mushrooms until soft and golden.
  2. Add the sour cream, milk and soy sauce. Season to taste and heat through.
  3. Add a bit more milk if the sauce becomes too thick.
