Ingredients


Hake:
900 g hake portions
Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
Juice of half a lemon
2 x 250 ml LANCEWOOD® White Sauce mixed with 500 ml grated LANCEWOOD® Cheddar

Topping:
30 ml butter, melted
30 ml parsley or chives, chopped
125 ml fresh breadcrumbs
60 ml LANCEWOOD® Cheddar, grated

Method


Hake: 
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the fish in a single layer in an ovenproof dish. Season to taste and drizzle with a little lemon juice. Spoon the sauce and cheese mixture over and spread out evenly.

Topping: 
Mix the butter, parsley, breadcrumbs and cheese together and sprinkle over. Bake for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly. Serve with mash and salad.

HINTS & TIPS: 
Use skinless chicken breasts instead of fish.
