Create NowPreheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Cut a circle from the top of the bread, leaving a 3 cm thick border. Cut straight down, but not right through and remove the center piece of bread. Set aside.
Mix the cheese sauce, cream cheese, cheeses, mayonnaise, mustard and seasoning together.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the bacon until golden. Add to the cheese mixture and spring onions and mix through.
Spoon into the bread and place on the baking sheet. Brush the edges of the bread with oil and bake for 30 – 40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Meanwhile cut the center piece of bread that was removed into bite-sized chunks. Toast until golden on all sides. Serve with the warm dip.
