Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients

500 g chicken breast(s) , cut into thin slices
60 ml butter
1 onion(s) , chopped
400 g mixed mushrooms , chopped
salt & freshly ground black pepper  to taste
250 ml LANCEWOOD Sauce Delight® Pepper Sauce
250 ml LANCEWOOD Sauce Delight® Mushroom Sauce
125 ml milk
500 ml penne pasta , cooked
1 lemon , juice of half the lemon

 

To serve:

60 ml Parmesan , grated
30 ml fresh parsley , chopped

Method

1. Heat the butter and fry the chicken until golden. Remove from the pan and set aside.

2. Fry the onion and mushrooms until cooked and golden and season to taste.

3. Add the chicken to the pan together with the pepper and mushroom sauce. Stir through.

4. Add the cooked penne pasta and milk and heat through. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and seasoning to taste.

To serve:
Serve with grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of parsley.
