Lancewood Creamy Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

175 ml LANCEWOOD Sour Cream & Chives DIP&TOP™
250 ml milk
1 garlic clove , crushed
250 ml LANCEWOOD® White Cheddar , finely grated
125 g ham , chopped
125 ml peas
30 ml fresh parsley , chopped
1 lemon , zest & juice
salt & freshly ground black pepper  to taste
250 g tagliatelle , cooked according to the instructions on the packet

Method

Add the dip, milk and garlic to a saucepan and heat over gentle heat.

Add 125 ml of the cheese, ham and peas and stir until the cheese has melted into sauce.

Add the parsley, lemon zest and juice and seasoning to taste.

Mix with the cooked pasta and serve with the remaining cheese sprinkled over.

HINTS & TIPS:

  • When draining the pasta after cooking, keep some of the pasta water. Should the pasta sauce be too thick, you can add some pasta water.
  • Add fried bacon bits instead of ham.
