Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients:

40 g chocolate (milk
dark or white), melted & slightly cooled
250 g LANCEWOOD® Full Fat Plain Cream Cheese or LANCEWOOD® Mascarpone, at room temperature
25 g cranberries
cherries
apricots or mixed peel, chopped
25 g almonds
pecan nuts or pistachios, chopped

To finish:
40 g chocolate (milk
dark or white), finely grated

Method

  1. Mix the melted chocolate, cream cheese, cranberries and nuts together (or any variation of your choice).
  2. Refrigerate for 60 minutes.


To finish:
  1. Remove the mixture from the refrigerator. Roll into walnut sized balls (approximately 3 cm in size). Roll each ball in grated chocolate until completely covered.
  2. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.


HINTS & TIPS:

Try different flavour combinations to add variation to your dessert platter:
  1. Dark chocolate, cherries and almonds
  2. Dark chocolate, almonds and mixed citrus peel
  3. White chocolate, pistachios and cranberries
  4. White chocolate, pecan nuts and apricots
