Lancewood Cheesy Banting Lasagne

Ingredients

30 ml olive oil
Half an onion , diced
5 ml garlic , crushed
15 ml oregano , fresh or dried
salt & freshly ground black pepper  to taste
400 g canned chopped tomatoes
1 kg beef mince
250 g mushrooms , sliced
500 ml LANCEWOOD Sauce Delight™ Cheese Sauce
150 g LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Mozzarella , grated
fresh thyme , chopped for garnishing

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Pour the olive oil into a pot and add the onion, garlic, oregano and seasoning. Add the tomatoes and mince and simmer over a medium heat for 15 minutes.

Layer the bottom of a greased baking dish with half of the mince.

Layer over half of the mushrooms and 1 tub cheese sauce. Repeat the layers and top with mozzarella.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Garnish with the fresh thyme and enjoy!
