Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Strips

Ingredients

Chicken strips:

500 g skinless chicken breasts , cut into strips
150 g bread crumbs , panko or crushed cornflakes
5 ml smoked paprika
5 ml salt
freshly ground black pepper  to taste
2 large eggs
oil for spraying and frying

Yoghurt dip:

1 garlic clove , minced
juice of half a lemon
375 ml LANCEWOOD Greek Delight® Double Cream Plain Yoghurt
30 ml fresh parsley , chopped
15 ml fresh chives , chopped
2.5 ml ground cumin
salt and pepper  to taste

Method

Chicken strips:
Combine the breadcrumbs, paprika, salt and pepper in a shallow dish. Beat the eggs in a second dish. Dip the chicken strips into the beaten egg, then the seasoned crumbs.

Air fryer:
Spray with olive oil and place in the air fryer in a single layer. Air fry at 200°C for 14 - 16 minutes, turning and spraying with olive oil halfway through cooking.

Oven baking:
Place on a lined and greased baking tray and bake at 200°C for 15 - 20 minutes.

Bake for 10 - 12 minutes, turning the sandwich after 5 minutes.

Yoghurt dip:
Add the garlic and lemon juice to a bowl and leave to stand for 10 minutes.

Add the yoghurt, parsley, chives, cumin and salt and pepper. Mix well.

Pour into a dip bowl and serve with the chicken strips.
