From our most recent triumph at the 2025/26 World Cheese Awards hosted in Switzerland, the multiple wins at the SA Dairy Championships to the consumer-driven accolades, we have plenty to celebrate.
The World Cheese Awards remain one of the most prestigious contests in the dairy industry. In 2025/26, LANCEWOOD®’s Medium Fat Cream Cheese with Sweet Chilli captured a Gold medal. Our Mature Cheddar claimed Bronze, reinforcing the quality across our broad range. A third medal came home with our Low Fat Smooth Plain Lactose Free Cottage Cheese, earning Bronze and proving that even speciality offerings can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the world’s best. These wins aren’t just about taste; they showcase the dedication and craftsmanship of the entire LANCEWOOD® family.
Closer to home, the 2025 SA Dairy Championships gave LANCEWOOD® another chance to shine. Our products proudly topped several classes out of a total of 1110 entries:
Over the years we have earned the coveted Qualité award, given to products that stand head and shoulders above the rest. These victories are a testament to LANCEWOOD®’s uncompromising quality and innovation across multiple cheese styles.
Our success isn’t limited to expert tasting panels. The Ask Afrika Icon Brands survey sampling 24,000 local consumers named LANCEWOOD® South Africa’s favourite cream cheese and cottage cheese brand two years running. In addition, the Food & Home Awards recognised LANCEWOOD® with 12 medals across yoghurt, sauces, dips and cheese.
Consistency sets great brands apart. In 2024, we continued our winning ways with multiple SA Dairy Championships podiums and a bronze medal at the World Cheese Awards. Even in 2023, LANCEWOOD® secured 4 silver and 1 bronze medals.
