Lancewood Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

45 ml butter
45 ml flour
320 ml milk
2.5 ml paprika
5 ml mixed herbs
2.5 ml garlic salt
70 g LANCEWOOD® Mature Cheddar , grated
45 ml LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Spring Onion & Chives Cream Cheese
60 ml water
3 large potatoes , peeled

Method

Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a round quiche pan. 

Add the butter to a frying pan and melt over low heat. Add the flour, and whisk to remove any lumps. 

Add the milk and whisk together. Add the paprika, mixed herbs, garlic salt and cheese and whisk until the cheese is melted through.

Add the cream cheese and whisk together. Add the water and mix through. Set aside. 

Evenly slice the potatoes thinly. Layer the potatoes in a flower pattern in the quiche pan.

Pour the sauce over, spread evenly and bake for 45 minutes or until cooked through. 

The perfect braai side!
