Pizza Braai Pie

Ingredients:

800 g roll puff pastry (2 x 400 g)
4 tbsp Napolitana tomato sauce
80 g LANCEWOOD® Medium Fat Plain Cream Cheese
15 salami slices
1 tbsp peppadews, chopped & drained
80 g Feta Cheese
1 ripe avocados, pitted & sliced
50 g LANCEWOOD® Grated Cheddar
75 g LANCEWOOD® Grated Mozzarella
1 egg, beaten

Method

  1. Spray a braai grid with cooking spray and place one sheet of puff pastry onto the braai grid.
  2. Spread the pasta sauce over the puff pastry, leaving a 2 cm border.
  3. Add dollops of cream cheese spaced evenly over the tomato sauce. Flatten with the back of a spoon.
  4. Top with salami slices, peppadews, crumbled feta and sliced avocado.
  5. Sprinkle the grated cheese over.
  6. Close with the second sheet of puff pastry and lightly press the edges with a fork to seal.
  7. Close the braai grid and brush both sides with the beaten egg.
  8. Braai for 20- 30 minutes turning frequently until cooked through and golden brown.
  9. Divide into 8 pieces and enjoy as a delicious braai side.
