Lancewood Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

200 g macaroni
500 ml LANCEWOOD Sauce Delight™ White Sauce
125 ml LANCEWOOD® Cheddar , grated

Method

Cook the macaroni according to the instructions on the packet. Strain and keep warm.

Place the white sauce tub in the middle of a microwaveable plate, heat for 1 minute, stir and heat for another minute.

Alternatively heat the white sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir regularly for approximately 3 minutes.

Remove from the heat. Add to the cooked macaroni and mix through.

Sprinkle grated cheddar over and serve.

HINTS & TIPS:
•    Use penne or pasta shells instead of macaroni.  
•    Add extra ingredients like sautéed mushrooms, fried bacon, sundried tomatoes and caramelised onions.
•    Add some extra flavour to the sauce by adding a little mustard powder, wholegrain mustard, garlic or add a bit of zing with a pinch of chilli powder. 
•    To add a bit of crunch, crumble croutons finely with grated cheddar and sprinkle on top.
