Ingredients


Per sandwich:
2 slices white bread
45 – 60 ml LANCEWOOD® Sweetmilk or Cheddar Flavoured Medium Fat Cheese Spread
2 slices tomato
1 – 2 slices ham, optional
3 – 4 slices cucumber
2 lettuce leaves
Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method


Spread bread generously with LANCEWOOD® Sweetmilk or Cheddar Flavoured Medium Fat Cheese Spread and top with other ingredients of your choice.

HINTS & TIPS:

  • Always put the wettest ingredient like tomato in the centre of the sandwich to prevent the sandwich from going soggy.
  • Butter slices lightly to create a moisture barrier before adding other ingredients to prevent bread from going soggy.
  • Lettuce will act as a barrier between the bread and wetter ingredients like tomato and cucumber. Always makes sure your lettuce is well dried before using it.
  • Wrap sandwiches in plastic wrap or in greaseproof paper or place in a sealable plastic bag before placing it in the lunchbox to prevent them from drying out.
  • If placing sandwiches directly into the lunchbox, place a paper serviette underneath to absorb any spills from the sandwich.
