Cheesy stuffed patties:
500 g beef mince
60 ml breadcrumbs
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 large egg
30 ml Worcestershire Sauce
Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
60 g LANCEWOOD® Cheddar, finely grated
15 ml olive oil

To build the burger:
4 Hamburger buns

Tomato slices


Cheesy stuffed patties:
Using a mixing bowl, add the mince, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce and seasoning and mix until well combined.

Form the mince mixture into four balls.

Create a well in the centre of each patty and place 15 g cheddar in the centre of each ball. Seal the cheese in the middle of the patty.

Add the olive oil to a pan over a medium high heat. Cook for 10 minutes per side.

To build the burger:
Butter the bottom half of each hamburger bun and top with lettuce. Add the cheesy stuffed patty and pour over the mushroom sauce. Top with a tomato slice and the top half of the bun.
