Create Now1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Spray an ovenproof dish or 6 large ramekins with non stick spray.
2. Arrange the pie apples in the dish/ramekins. Scatter the cranberries over and sprinkle with xylitol and cinnamon.
3. Mix the oats and the yoghurt together.
4. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold into the yoghurt mixture and spoon over the apples.
5. Sprinkle a few cranberries and a little xylitol on top.
6. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until golden and cooked.
HINTS & TIPS:
1. Unsweetened pie apples alternative: Peel and slice 4 apples. Cover with boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes until soft. Drain well.
2. If using LANCEWOOD® Low Fat No Sugar Added Blackberry & Cherry Yoghurt instead of Plain yoghurt, decorate with fresh cherries and berries.
3. Bake in the air fryer at 175°C for 20 minutes.
4. Pie can be enjoyed as a delicious guilt-free breakfast.
