Create NowPeanut butter balls:
Tiramisu dip:
Peanut butter balls:
1. Beat the cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth.
2. Sift the icing sugar and add to the cream cheese mixture. Add a pinch of salt and beat until well combined.
3. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm slightly.
4. Roll a teaspoon full of the mixture into a ball and repeat. If the mixture becomes too soft to handle, pop it back into the freezer for a few minutes to firm up.
5. Push a toothpick into each ball. Place them in the freezer for 30 minutes or until firm.
6. Place the melted chocolate and chopped peanuts or toasted coconut in 2 separate bowls. Then dip each ball into the chocolate followed by the peanuts or toasted coconut.
7. Place the dipped balls onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Refrigerate until needed.
8. Remove toothpicks just before serving.
Tiramisu dip:
1. Beat the mascarpone and the cream together.
2. Add the castor sugar a little at a time and beat well after each addition.
3. Add the coffee, vanilla essence and optional liqueur and beat until firm.
4. Spoon into a serving bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Dust with cocoa powder and serve with various dippers like strawberries, Boudoir biscuits, chocolate biscuits, wafer sticks, etc.
To finish:
Add the peanut butter balls & tiramisu dip to a round wooden board. Build a selection of everyone's favourite treats like Lindt chocolate balls, Oreo biscuits, turkish delight, chocolate straws, strawberries, cherries and kiwi to create a showstopping dessert charcuterie board and enjoy the celebrations together!
