Create NowPlace slices of French loaf on a baking sheet.
Brush lightly with oil and rub with garlic cloves.
Grill until golden on the one side. Turnover, brush with oil and grill until golden.
Spread bruschetta with the cheese spread.
To finish:
Serve bruschetta with one of the following toppings:
1. Top with sliced salami, chopped sundried tomatoes and rocket. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste and serve.
2. Mix halved cherry tomatoes, shredded basil, a pinch of sugar, a touch of olive oil, salt and ground black pepper together.
Spoon on top of bruschetta and serve.
3. Top with rare roast beef or any other cold meat of your choice, caramelized onions, a sprig of thyme and salt to taste.
4. Fry chopped mixed mushrooms in a little garlic and butter until golden.
Spoon on top of bruschetta and top with grated cheese and freshly ground black pepper.
